Phantasy Star Online: New Genesis has one big caveat – what kind of game puts the market place behind a paywall? That’s not very cool.

Still, there is a way to access the Personal Shop for free – thanks to the Personal Shop Use (3 Days).

How to Get the Personal Shop Pass

Take a look at your mission pass. For that, get into your Tasks/Quests, then select Mission Pass. The Personal Shop Use (3 Days) has consitently been reward Rank 24 for some time, but it was different before, and it could be a different rank when you check it out.

If you’re towards the end of a Mission Pass Season, try to get it before it ends. If anything, you’ll be able to get it in the next season, but these passes are useful to get, and the more the better.

About the Mission Pass…

If you’re unsure about whether it’s worth it or not to get the Gold Mission Pass, I can assure you that it is! It costs 100 SG, which is not too expensive when you look at all these extra rewards.

Your 100SG will give you stuff like Fashion Items, N-mission Badges and Special Tickets, and even a N-Color Change Pass! I never have enough Color change passes… because fashion is the only endgame, we all know that!

Go to the Shop section of your menu, then select AC/SG Shop, then SG Shop. There you can 100 SG on a N-Mission Pass Gold.

Preparing for your 3 days

Having the personal shop open only for 3 days means that you should definitely prepare some stock beforehand, and keep on top of your sales during that 72 hours.

The shop gives you 30 slots to put items up for sale. While it may not seem like much, remember that most things do not stack in PSO2:NGS, so you’ll be in and out of the shop often to add more stuff once things sell out.

What should you sell?

There’s a lot of stuff we don’t have access to as F2P players, but I did manage to find quite a bit of stuff for you to stock up on. Some things are, of course, RNG-based, like cool weapons with Lvl 3, 4 or 5 Preset Skills, and rare drops from specific places, but some are easier to work with.

1. Specific Augments

Just because of the fact that augments are stackable, it goes to the top of the list. I don’t advise to sell, say, Dolz Soul I stacks of 999. They may be 1000 N-Meseta a piece, for a total of almost 1 million N-Meseta, but the market is flooded so badly, you’d be wasting one of your 30 slots. However, if you run out of things to sell, you could list those stacks at the end of your 3 days so that they sell gradually (and painfully slowly) while you can’t put items up for sale.

Almost any Rank IV augment is worth keeping for the shop.

They may not sell for more than the base 1000 N-Meseta, but they should sell pretty quickly, considering that they are the best version of that augment. C/Might IV, C/Precision IV, C/Technique IV and C/Deftness IV are more common, so it’s quite likely that they’ll be 1000 N-Meseta each.

C/Triplble

C/Triplble hovers around 2000-3000 N-Meseta each. It can be acquired at the Lab Shop for 5 of each of the following: C/Melra Dualble, C/Meltech Dualble, C/Ratech Dualble, Photon Quartz.

C/Gigas Series IV

C/Gigas (Might/Precision/Technique) IV are more valuable, ranging from 60k to 120k N-Meseta each. They can be acquired from Gigantix enemies (lvl 69+) and many seasonal events will have a stock of them to trade for seasonal points, which you should take advantage of.

C/Stira Domina

C/Stira Domina hovers around the 140k N-Meseta mark. You can acquire them at the Lab Shop for 5 of each of the following: C/Stira Note A, B, C and D, Infernium, and Hexatrite.

C/Dread Keeper IV

Both C/Dread Keeper III and IV are quite valuable, with rank IV being priced around 170k N-Meseta. They drop from lvl 60+ Dread Enemies, and many seasonal events will have a stock of them to trade for seasonal points, which you should take advantage of.

C/Freid Soul IV

A rare drop from the Flamedyl Sword boss that shows up in the Stia region, the C/Freid Soul IV is usually priced around 150k N-meseta. The Flamedyl Sword can be found more often in Dext Base (PSE combat zone) and Dreisen Plant.

C/Sovereign Ward III

C/Sovereign Ward III is also something to keep for your shop, at about 110-150k per.

You can only find them at the Lab Shop, and they can be exchanged for: either C/Sovereign Ward I x10 or C/Sovereign Ward II x4, Photon Quartz x10 and Trinite x10.

You can make your own C/Sovereign Ward I augments through the Lab Shop as well. You’ll need Photon Quartz x5, Trinite x5 and 10 target capsules per exchange. The target capsules are other types of Ward augments rank I, C/Might I, C/Precision I, C/Technique I.

C/Mastery IV

C/Mastery IV is key. I rarely see it go under 500k N-Meseta each, which is a lot of cash, especially for a stackable item.

2. Weapons and Armor

Weapons and armor drop all the time, cluttering our inventory REAL FAST. So what’s worth anything in this game? Here’s a couple of names to keep in mind – check the Market price on any of these before systematically vendoring them.

Armor Series

Efitus, Eptize, Eclaireur, are currently the most valuable armors.

Behlgren, Sestato, Schwarzest-Schwarzgarde-Schwarzrosso Armors, Defrozza and Defrozzis Armors, and Vijf Amor Arga/Belta/Sheza should be some of the higher priced ones (possibly only the ones with Preset Skills)

Cattleya, Qual de Armor and VIalto Armors fluctuate a lot, but I’ve sold some at good prices, Preset Skills or no.

Here is a comprehensive list of Armors with icons and stats for more information.

Weapon Series

Rugged, Rokz, Relik, Obsidia, Kaizaar, Crystia, Evolorbit weapons all have good sales potential. Anyone of these with Preset Skills will most likely be at least 30k, if not 300k.

Gunblaze Weapons (which are insanely rare)

Any weapon with elemental damage -could- be a good sale, check them out

Finally, if you get a weapon with level 3-5 Preset Skills, no matter what the weapon is, make sure to do a “Check Augment/Preset Skill Market Prices” on it. There are too many combinations on these for me to list which ones to look out for!

Note: while Tenebrous weapons are high level, they are also a dime a dozen, and the market is overflooded with them. Still, like anything else, Preset Skills may make a Tenebrous weapon valuable!

Here is a comprehensive list of weapons with icons and stats for more information. Each weapon type has a page, and you can change weapon type from the top grid page links.

3. Rare drops

Many Almatis that drop from Urgent quests and trigger quests are quite pricey. Same goes for any Motion(MTN) drops, which drop only from Dark Falz interception (either Rank) and Purple Triggers (Rank 2+)

If you find any of these, and especially if you don’t care much for what the Almati or MTN looks like, be sure to check out the price tag on it. These are worth a lot of Meseta!

Setting up your personal shop

First, make sure to consider the time you’ll be setting up shop at. You want to make sure you won’t be busy during the last 1-2 hours of the Shop access, so you can set up your Shop for passively selling stuff! When the Shop pass ends, you can no longer put up items, but you can still retrieve N-Meseta from sales that occur when your shop is “closed” to you.

If, like me, you want to maximize your 72 hours, comb through your storage, which should be full of the aforementioned pricey things, and select your first 30 sale slot items before triggering your Personal Shop Use ticket. It usually takes me about 30-60 minutes to comb through my stuff and choose the things I want, and I like to do it beforehand so I don’t stress about time lost.

Your 30 Sale Slots

You -should- try to be more active during these 72 hours, or at least keep an eye on your shop more when you’re online, so that you can replace anything that sells as soon as you see an empty slot.

I like to use 10 slots for high-priced, non-stackable items like Almatis and MTN items. Anything with a price tag of over 2 million N-Meseta would enter this category. I do not undercut the competition, rather, I price it the same as the current lowest price.

Next, I use 10 slots for mid-range items that should sell well, such as armors and weapons with Preset Skills. I make sure to slightly undercut the competition here, usually by 1000-5000 N-Meseta.

Finally, I use the last 10 slots for stackable items, namely, augments. While the shop is active, the only augments I concern myself with are the Rank III and IV of what I mentioned above. Everything is pricey, but also highly in-demand. For these, I match the lowest price instead of undercutting. They will sell pretty quickly either way, and I’d rather not trigger a price drop, much less and undercutting war.

Although, with the way the Personal Shop works, I’m not sure undercutting wars are something to worry about. Still, better safe than sorry.

Checking-in on your shop sales

Due to the sale slot limit on your shop, you’ll have more stock to put up as soon as you sell something. As far as I know (considering that the chat box is not something I look at ever), you are not notified when you make a sale. If you are, it’s rather easy to miss with all the system messages, chatty people in town, and loot notifications, so you’re better off checking-in on your shop sales regularly.

At the very least, I’d check the shop upon login and before logoff. I would usually try to take a look whenever I got to one of the towns, too.

All good 3-day passes come to an end

Finally, you’ll get to the end of that 72 hours. To make the best use of your “passive” shop, I suggest putting up stacks of 999 augments (whichever you have, although some may be more popular than others). You shouldn’t have any more Rank IV or pricey Rank III augments to sell, so you’re going for quantity.

Besides your stacks of augments, you can also list a few leftover weapons and armors that didn’t make the cut while you were actively using the Shop. They may not be as good, so they may take more time to find a buyer, but considering you won’t be able to update your shop for a while, you can let those run until they sell.

Good luck in your sales endeavors! Let me know in a comment if this was helpful. I try my best!
